1) Sharing eye makeup such as mascara, or keeping it longer than than the recommended 6 months & stabbing yourself in the eye when applying makeup on the bus/tube etc.

2) Wearing cosmetic contact lenses, i.e. coloured ones as there could be quality control issues at manufacture.

3) Looking at the sun.

4) A bad diet. Not only does eating well reduce risk of heart disease etc, it also protects against the leading cause of blindness, Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD).
